Transforming Timor Village by Village

Transformation Alliance wants to be a blessing to every one of the 446 villages of Timor. We aim to serve the community by bringing practical help, with no strings attached. We desire to see Timor holistically transformed, village by village.

Support the Leaders: Be a faithful supporter of the local authorities. Where needed and where appropriate, we will volunteer assistance to help them achieve their goals of peace, prosperity and progress in their respective communities.

Develop the Village: Work with community leaders and help in different small ways to see the village developed. Develop Social Services, promote healthcare, and promote education.

Promote Community Spirit: Work with community leaders to help establish a community centre in every village. This centre will serve as the prime location for all community-based activities and celebrations.

Promote Social Responsibility:  Initiate community projects to rally the whole village to work together for a common cause such as Village Clean-Up, Village Repair, School Renovation, Tree-Planting, Crisis Relief, Food Aid and so on.

Strengthen the Family: Introduce Family Life programmes to strengthen the family as the basic unit of society, the foundation for a secure future.

Inspire the Next Generation:  Every child matters. The village child must not be denied the opportunity to discover his or her God-given talents. He or she must develop those gifts and use them to contribute to society and to build nation. Hence, at the village level, we aim to develop relevant programs targeting Timor's young. Impart values, build confidence, unleash creativity and inspire dreams.
