The dream shall never die. When we have ideas, convictions and dreams, do not give up on them. Work on them and they can be realized.

The Shared Passion

Ever since our first trip in September 2004, Transformation Alliance has influenced many others to visit Timor. These represent a broad spectrum of society, a colourful mix of church leaders, business people, tour agents, financial planners, medical professionals, university lecturers, research scientists, journalists, media creators, directors of education, school principals, teachers, and students

The Clear Strategy

Simply stated, we aim to facilitate the process of transformation in Timor village-by-village.

Our goal is to partner each village in Timor with an individual church. This means that all 446 villages will have a partner-church. The partner-church can be from any part of the world.

To accomplish this, each District will have a District Anchor which is usually a large church or a denomination.

The District Anchor will run the District Hub, a one-stop info centre for partner-churches. They will facilitate specific projects related to education, health or vocational training that will directly or indirectly benefit every village in the District.

The Vital Partnership

Someone once said: "With partnership and vision, you can change the world. Partnership multiplies our potential and extends our reach."

Hence, we seek to partner with all levels of authority in Timor and with churches from around the world to turn dreams into reality.

The Good Progress

Dream big, start small. Since November 2004, we have provided scholarship for 350 orphans. This was administrated through the Alola Foundation.

In 2005, different District Anchors initiated small steps to meet needs at the village level. One District Anchor partnered with the kindergarten in his village for scholarships and teacher training. Another built toilets. Others, working with their Suco Xefe, organized village fairs, ran mobile clinics, conducted health seminars, and activated food relief in a time of crisis.
